Museoita - Museums


Nonnis, tanssit on tanssattu ja hienosti meni. Ihana oli katsella ihan näitä nuorimpia neitejä hörselöissään, vaan kyllä oli myös näitä vähän jo kasvaneempia näyttämässä mitä on taas vuoden aikana opittu.
Lontoon reissulla vierailtiin myös museoissa, Victoria & Albert Museum of Childhoodissa ja Pollock's Toy Museumissa. Molemmissa oli valtavasti nähtävää, ensimmäisessä väljästi ja jälkimmäisessä todella tiiviisti aseteltuna. Viehättäviä paikkoja kumpainenkin. Oli hyvä nähdä vanhojen nukkekotien villeys, väriyhdistelmissä, skaalojen kirjossa ja nukkekotien valtavassa koossa.


Ok, dancing is over for now and it was a fine show. It was lovely to see both the youngest in their frills and a bit bigger kids showing what they have learned this year.
At London we visited some museums too. Victoria & Albert Museum of Childhood and Pollock's Toy Museum were both fascinating places. So much to see, in roomy glass cabinets in the first one and fully packed on every wall in small rooms in the second. It was good to see old doll's houses in all their glory and wildness. So cool colour combinations, so many scales in one and the houses were just huge.

I just adore those old dollies and hope to see them one day in the future.

Was the fair fun? Can we also expect Kensington Dollshouse Festival pics? :P
