Huovutusta - Felting

Huopaelukat ovat tulossa näillä näkymin Lahden minimarkkinoille, joilla koitan niitä myydä. Hiirulaiselle pitää vaan vielä virittää häntä. Nämä ovat liikuteltavia raajoista ja päästä.
Huomenna hän tulee osui työpöydällä taustaksi, kun teen sen tunnelmasta tanssia tanssikoulun kevätnäytökseen ja piti valita sopiva katkelma sinne luettavaksi esityksen yhteydessä. Luin melkein koko näytelmän samalla vauhdilla. Se on musta hyvä, outo mutta hyvä. Tämä on mukavaa aikaa vuodesta siinä, että näkee oppilaiden edistymisen niin selkeästi, kun kausi loppuu.

I'll try to sell these felt-toys at Lahti miniature fair at the beginning of June. I need to make a tail for the mouse, preferably a thin one that won't drop off... I made these posable, jointed in arms, legs and the head.
The book behind the creatures is Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot. I'm a dance teacher and making a performance for the spring recital of the dance-school based on the atmosphere of this book. I had to find a short quote from the book to be read at the recital and I read the whole play. It's good, weird but good. I like this time of year for many reasons, one being that it's so clear to see how the students have learned so much.
