Kartanokierroksella osa 2 - Visiting two manor houses part 2

Eteisaulan portaikko marmorilattioineen. Lentäjäpoika, venäläistä ruhtinassukua, on Mette Möllerin upean upea nukke. Vietetäänköhän täällä kohta kihlajaisia?

Heleena's big manor house is still under construction. It is even more grand than Heleenelund, where we visited a couple of blogposts ago. The young aviator, of Russian aristocracy, is a fabulous doll made by Mette Möller. I wonder if there will be an engagement announced soon?

In the dining room we met an emigrant couple fleeing from the revolution. The Madame looks a bit annoyed, but that's understandable as the match with the brash officer was not as good as it seemed to. The family money is almost gone. Wonderful to have distant relatives of weath though, still a roof above and no harsh life-style changes. These two are also made by Mette Möller.

James keskustelee Lady Alinen kanssa. Dixiehän on suotuisalla tuulella. Sillä on nimittäin paha tapa räksyttää tuntemattomille miehille ja käydä tarvittaessa lahkeeseen kiinni.

James discusses with Lady Aline. Dixie is acting nicely today. She tends to bark at gentlemen she doesn't know and might catch their trouser leg too.

Elsie meets the Lady of the house and her mother. Elsie often delivers her flower arrangements here.

The Lady is very particular and her contacts in Paris make sure she has the latest fashions represented in her manor house. All made in the best possible taste, of course.

Both the Lady (in grey and black outfit with the wonderful hat) and her mother (in black with a dog made by me) are made by Marcia Backström. I love how expressive and detailed they are. But so is Elsie, made by Taru Astikainen.

James tutkailee salongin yksityiskohtia. Tämäkin oli oikein antoisa vierailu antiikkiliikkeen linjaa ajatellen.

James studies the details of the parlor. This was a wonderful visit to adjust the selection in his antique store.

Pikaisiin näkemisiin!

Farewell!

Käsittämättömän hienoja nukkeja nuo musta-asuiset leidit ja muutkin. Ihailen kovasti myös vihreää kattokruunua sekä uusia mattoja, joista osassa on itselleni tuttu kuvio, on tullut tikattua samoja malleja. Vai uusi kartano, vau!
